Dr Smillie has been my dentist for more than 2 decades… he has given me consistently top-level care. He is the kind of clinician who always puts patients first- sadly very difficult to find in current times.The receptionists are also very patient and efficient, and have also been there long-term which they should be rewarded for. They complete the package.

Having avoided dental treatment for several years because of previous bad experiences and the anxiety connected to that I was unable to avoid it any longer. I signed up with Josie Muirhead-Smith at Green Park Dental Practice. As well as the dental anxiety I'm also autistic so everything is more difficult before I even arrive for an appointment.<br>I was given an initial checkup and a printed treatment plan which was daunting as I needed a lot of treatment but I was able to space out each individual treatment to suit me. As for the appointments, Josie is incredibly patient and gives me the reassurance and time to process throughout the whole appointment. She explains what she's going to do and asks throughout how I'm doing pausing if needed. She, along with the dental nurse works quietly and professionally to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. I can't recommend her highly enough especially if you have any sort of anxiety or additional needs.

Both the Hygienist and Dentist were very patient and considerate towards me as I am quite a nervous patient. This was the best dental visit I have had in my life!

Clinicians were so patient and understanding and really explained the procedure and helped me to feel more at ease and in control.I have severe anxiety over dental treatments especially fillings but they have made a difference tl my view going forward.

Really happy for the extra level of treatment I received, not only was the cleaning treatment very efficient but was less painful than previous times and I asked whether the water was warm and told yes their new system gently warms the water. I was given a special paste tooth rub which would identify any plaque which would turn pink. I was also given x rays to try to identify what was causing a random ache in one of my back teeth. In addition I was also given a prescription for both dry mouth and some fluoride toothpaste . Thanks

Anna Morley is an excellent Hygienist and is very thorough during the examination & treatment of my teeth. She is also patient and kind when giving me advice about how to best look after my teeth.

Warm welcome from Hygienist, all aspects of the work were explained by her.Good feedback on my dental hygiene and suggestions to improve.Dentist was also welcoming and gave helpful advice re further aspects of my dental care including costs. I did not feel pressured to spend money I may not have. Very respectful experience.

The dentist was excellent at her work taking care and time to make the experience as comfortable as possible, was very informative as to what she doing, and told me to contact her if there were any problem which there has not been! Very satisfied with the outcome!

The whole process was satisfactory. I was acknowledged when I turned up, the Hygienist asked how I brushed my teeth, explained the best way to keep them clean. She and her assistant made the treatment comfortable.
